The Pennsylvania Department of Education strongly encourages educators to collaborate on the development of Student Learning Objectives (SLO). These sessions are designed to allow for teachers from specialty areas to collaborate on SLO development that are focused on the content standards from their particular areas. An IU facilitator will guide teachers in completing the SLO Template based on collegial conversations about specific content instructional areas and performance measures that are often germane to a few people within each district. All participants will need to have an introductory understanding of the SLO process as a prerequisite for this sessions.
