Responsibilities:

  1. To assist students with disabilities in acquiring valuable employment skills
  2. To develop and communicate with employers/teachers/parents
  3. To develop a student’s resume and schedule
  4. To transport the student to and from employment
  5. To provide a variety of volunteer experiences for our students from which to learn and grow
  6. To provide as much support as needed for each student’s individual needs, while always working toward the goal of independence.
  7. To provide students with disabilities an edge in obtaining competitive employment upon graduation.
  8. Complete bi-weekly student evaluations

Qualifications :

  1. Minimum of a High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred
  2. Pennsylvania State Criminal History Clearance (Act 34)
  3. Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
  4. Federal Criminal History Clearance (Act 114)
  5. Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training
  6. Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)
  7. Pennsylvania Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification
  8. School Health Form: Physical/Tuberculosis Test
