Notice of Non-Discrimination

It is the policy of BLaST IU 17 to ensure an equal opportunity in admissions, employment and programs, services, and activities without any consideration of an individual’s race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and/or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. BLaST IU 17’s policies are publicly available and located on our website, including how to submit reports and/or complaints of sex discrimination and the pertinent grievance procedures concerning same.

BLaST IU 17 also declares it to be the policy of the IU to comply with federal law and regulations under Title IX prohibiting sexual harassment, which is a form of unlawful discrimination on the basis of sex. Inquiries regarding the application of Title IX to the IU may be referred to the Title IX Coordinator, to the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education, or both.

Violations of this policy, including acts of retaliation as described in this policy, or knowingly providing false information, may result in disciplinary consequences under applicable Board policy and procedures.
