BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 acts as liaison between the districts and the Pennsylvania Department of Education to insure that student records are current and accurate throughout the school year.

The Penn Data Liaison Services maintains and coordinates School Age and Early Intervention student tracking information to satisfy Federal, State, Intermediate Unit, and Districts reporting requirements. DaRTS, IU 17’s own designed student management software, provides a common database for the 19 school districts, Early Intervention, and Child Accounting.
