Structured Literacy Leadership: What Administrators Need to Know!
This course equips school leaders with knowledge and tools to meet Act 55, Chapter 49 requirements related to the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy. Participants will explore: Key Research and Core Principles of Reading Instruction Strategies to evaluate and strengthen literacy programs. Supporting explicit, evidence-based practices within a Structured Literacy and MTSS framework to improve outcomes for all students, especially diverse learners and those below grade level. There are 18-hours of required in-person training that will be on-site at BLaST offices. There are another 12-hours of job-embedded and asynchronous learning: Asynchronous - 3 hours Job Embedded -9 hours
