Assistive Technology Roundtable
You are invited to participate in a professional development day designed for both school district and Intermediate Unit regular education teachers, special education teachers, and speech and language therapists. Our featured presenters are Dana Vermilya and Christine Bear, speech-language pathologists & assistive technology consultants. Participants will gain a better understanding of supports that are available for students with assistive technology needs related to writing, what accommodations are allowable for state testing, and participate in a make and take activity. Participants will leave with knowledge & resources to consider implementing writing tools for AT as well as make appropriate accommodations.
