Computer Science Professional Learning (K-8)
Expand computer science in your classroom and in your school! This virtual course will be a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences that will support K-8 educators in a learn, plan and implement, and reflection phase. Participants will grow their computer science teaching capacity and learn how to integrate computer science into their own curriculum. While it is not required, it is recommended that schools engage with a team of 2+ educators to allow for collaboration throughout the professional learning. Throughout this learning commitment, participants will engage as the learner, teacher, and CS champion.
You will have the choice of three days for the Learning Kickoff session, the choice of two days for the Plan and Implement session and everyone comes together for the reflection/celebration final session.
