Welcome to our next installment of the IEP Best Practice Series!  This month, we’ll review the State and Local Assessment section of the IEP.  Ensuring the proper checkboxes are marked and appropriate information is filled out allows the IEP Team to document exactly what Assessments the student will be taking in a given year.  Furthermore, documenting what accommodations the student may receive is a key conversation that Team members need to have each year an Assessment is warranted.  Join us as we find explore and provide clarity on all things State and Local Assessments.

Next month we’ll take a deep dive into the Special Considerations portion of the IEP, please join us!
