10/16/2018With the commitment of the state funds to promote the growth of equitable STEM opportunities for all students, we are again able to offer participation in ITC at no cost to districts. The Innovation & Technology Collaborative (ITC) is a network of educators and administrators interested in implementing 21st Century approaches to transform teaching and learning.
Our Professional Learning Focus for 2018-19 will be: “Growing a Culture of Innovation.” We will be using George Couros’ book, The Innovator’s Mindset, for our discussions around “Growing a Culture of Innovation” in our districts, classrooms and communities.
District Commitment

- Understand how to develop and showcase evidence that illustrates a return on instruction (i.e., validation that innovative practices are improving learning outcomes).
- Learn how to effectively use technology, based on research, and analyze the current use in their school or district.
- Evaluate current methods of community and begin to identify next steps to further develop their school or district brand while ensuring the sustainability of changes over time.
