This data assists our PBIS teams to make more effective and efficient decisions when they have the right data in the right form at the right time. SWIS provides school personnel with the information they need to be successful decision makers. The SWIS Suite has assisted teams to improve their internal decision making and overall support plan design for individual students and their families. This training details the universal SWIS application to record and monitor office discipline referrals and make data based decisions to implement their School Wide Positive Behavior Support System. Teams purchasing the SWIS system will learn how to implement, monitor and utilize the data to implement PBIS with fidelity. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 3, 2020 12:30 pm: Question, Persuade, Refer for Suicide Prevention 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm ZOOM none Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a 1-2 hour interactive, best practices and evidence-based training to help guide a person on how to ask the suicide question, persuade the person to get help, and then him/her to appropriate professionals. QPR is an educational program designed to teach lay and professional "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond.

Many students with Autism also struggle with transition both at school and home. This session will discuss and give helpful strategies in attending for longer periods of time. 06/14/2020 | 06/15/2020 | 06/16/2020(1 event)9:00 am: Evidence-Based Professional Development Showcase ~ POSTPONED TIL FALL 9:00 am - 3:00 pm The showcase will provide district and school administrators and trauma-informed team members the opportunity to experience evidence-based approaches and strategies in building trauma-informed practices in schools. Sessions will include: PBIS/MTSS models, understanding adverse childhood experiences, brain architecture, equity and family engagement, among other topics. The showcase intends to provide teams with first-look opportunities which will then build the final required step of the Model Trauma-Model Approach Plan which is Selecting Professional Development and Training.
