Making Ends Meet for Students from Poverty Series is to address the opportunity and access gap for economically disadvantaged students. In collaboration with the Lycoming County United Way, this will be done through creating sustainable partnerships and educational resources through a community poverty simulation and a professional development series.
09/28/2021 Keynote speaker Dr. Paul Gorski introduces the series. (8:30 AM ~ 11:30 AM)
10/26/2021 Diversity & Inclusion ~ Part 1 (8:30 AM ~ 11:30 AM)
Choose one of the following Simulations:
11/03/2021 Poverty Simulation for Lycoming County Educators ONLY (9:00 AM ~ 3:00 PM)
11/04/2021 Poverty Simulation for Bradford, Sullivan and Tioga County Educators ONLY (9:00 AM ~ 3:00 PM)
11/11/2021 Diversity & Inclusion ~ Part 2 (8:30 AM ~ 11:30 AM)
12/16/2021 Diversity & Inclusion ~ Part 3 (8:30 AM ~ 11:30 AM)
This is a multi session event and you must attend the Keynote, the 3 parts of Diversity & Inclusion and ONE of the Simulations to receive ACT 48 credit.
ACT 48: 18 Credits
