10/05/2022If your PBIS team is looking for ways to revamp and reinvent your Tier 1 implementation processes, this training is for you. Together, we will discuss how to include trauma-informed practices at the universal level, better utilize your team meeting time, and refresh your staff and student incentives. This is an opportunity for teams to plan both with the facilitators and with one another and to connect over best practices. Training that is provided will take through a learning and workshopping format. On-site coaching and follow-up consultation will be provided to each team. If you are interested in an initial Universal Tier training, please contact Andrea Turner to set-up dates for your team.

Together, we will discuss how to include trauma-informed practices in advanced tiers, expanding your offerings for interventions and support, and dive deeper into the review of data for fidelity. This is an opportunity for teams to plan both with the facilitators and with one another and to connect over best practices. Training that is provided will take through a learning and workshopping format. On-site coaching and follow-up consultation will be provided to each team.

10/12/2022If you have ever found yourself confused by the PH pieces in the literacy puzzle, then this series is for you! We will explore the critical PH terminology that directly relates to best practices in foundational literacy instruction and beyond. Participants will leave with a firm grasp on these complex terms and how to align them with the 5 Pillars of Literacy instruction.

10/18/2022LETRS addresses four critical outcomes for effective literacy instruction: understanding the science of reading, converting research to practice, enhancing teacher effectiveness, and transforming instruction. By understanding the "why" behind science and evidence-based research, educators can effectively know how to aid students in learning to read. With Bridge to Practice activities, educators implement the knowledge gained directly into their classrooms.
Dates: September 13, October 18, March 14, & April 11 (must attend all sessions)
Location: Canton BLaST Office (Sept & Oct) & Williamsport BLaST Office (Mar & Apr)
