This professional development offering will take the form of a professional learning network for administrators, curriculum coordinators and teacher leaders (grades K-8) who are willing to collaborate in round table discussions and dive deeper with text-dependent analysis. Participants will gain a deep understanding of learning progressions and replacement units in order to monitor student growth and differentiate classroom instruction. It is suggested that participants previously have attended Teaching Deliberate Analysis in order to participate in A League of Learners. The training consists of two face-to-face workshops with one follow-up virtual support session provided at no additional cost. This virtual support session will be scheduled at the request of the participant. Participants must register for both face-to-face sessions to attend. Training materials are research-based and created and shared by Dr. Jeri Thompson from the Center for Assessment in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
