The workshop will cover content for an elementary school curriculum (unplugged and plugged) and be broken into three 2 hour sessions. These sessions are an opportunity to increase your knowledge and confidence in facilitating an engaged computer science classroom, and a chance to connect with other educators who are working to bring computer science to their schools. 27 9:00 am: Leadership Cohort: Leading through an Equitable Lens Leadership Cohort: Leading through an Equitable Lens 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Location varies This leadership cohort will focus on leading and learning through developing an understanding of equitable practices within different initiatives or programs in their own district or building. It is our hope to grow instructional practices, adult leadership skills, and professional learning with a focus on equity. Participants will also strengthen their leadership skills in a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between teachers and administrators. This cohort will meet face-to-face three times and then in virtual space four times (one hour each) over the school year in order to develop their equitable lens as a team. Asynchronous support and course work are also available.
