As part of the Code with Google initiative, participants will find an entire curriculum along with all the necessary lesson plan resources to help teach these skills to students in grades 4-8. During the workshop, participants will: Review the CS First curriculum. Learn best practices with a CS First class from a student and teacher perspective. The programs encourage all children to envision themselves as engineers. This training is targeted for elementary educators (grades 1-5) and will focus on the units within this curriculum and how they can be integrated into your already taught curriculum. Join this virtual training to learn how to integrate a curriculum in your content area to have your students learning concepts and principles in an authentic problem-/project-based environment.
