04/18/2021 | 04/19/2021(1 event)All day: Autism Connection Community 2021 All day - Do you currently work with students diagnosed with Autism? Are you looking for strategies to promote learning and areas of positive growth? Are you looking to build a connection with other teachers and educators? Check-in with the BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 for my ‘Autism Connection Community.’ Every month, I will share a specific skill area that educators should practice with themselves and their students to develop a better understanding and increase a positive classroom culture and environment. These skills are recyclable and should be used throughout the school year. The instruction and strategies may vary from grade to grade and depending on each student since “no two students are the same.” The skills lab will run asynchronously and virtually so that educators can dive in when ready. Content will drop each month and reflection exercises will be embedded throughout each skill section. There will be touch points along the way with Jim Rinehimer, who will help bridge these skills into practice. Content drops: March 22, April 19 & May 10 Deadline to register is May 10, 2021 No cost ACT 48: 6 | 04/20/2021 | 04/21/2021 | 04/22/2021 | 04/23/2021 | 04/24/2021 |
