We all understand that elementary math can be tough, and as teachers, we've all faced challenges. That's why we're here to support you in various ways. Together with BLaST IU17, we believe that providing Math Education Professional Learning can be an effective means of empowering and upskilling elementary educators.
Therefore, we have planned a K-5 Math Education Workshop for Curriculum and Math leaders. It will be a chance to:
• Understand core issues your teams are facing in Elementary Math
• Experience how to foster a thinking classroom
• Discuss how to measure success in a math classroom
• Share our work in Math Education, specifically how we partner with districts
