Math Design Collaborative Training
The Math Design Collaborative provides middle school and high school teachers with readily available formative assessment lessons (Fals) to enhance and activate the conceptual understanding of the math skills required of a 21st century learner. These well-crafted lessons have been aligned to the PA Core and are embedded with the NCTM math practices.
AUDIENCE: Middle School Math Teachers (grades 5-9); the enrollment is limited to 24 participants (not to exceed 4 per school).
COST:Â $100 (includes four (4) days training and two (2) on-sight visits).
DATES: September 29-30, 2014 (Northeast Bradford High School) and October 27 and November 24, 2014 (BLaST IU 17 - Canton Office).
SUBSTITUTES:Â School districts will receive substitute reimbursement for the initial training and ongoing support hours.
School districts will be invoiced upon completion. Lunch will be provided onsite.
