Welcome back! Last time we met, we learned that Present Levels are the backbone of every student’s IEP. When our Present Levels are documented properly, a student’s Needs are able to be targeted. One way to target these Needs is by implementing Measurable Annual Goals that are observable and measurable.
Please join us as we explore the next chapter in our IEP Best Practice series to gain a better understanding of the four criteria required for writing sound and solid Measurable Annual Goals:
– Condition
– Student’s Name
– Clearly Defined Behavior
– Performance Criteria
Next month we’ll be back at it again with additional training on the Transition Section through BLaST U17’s IEP Best Practice Series.
